If you're working on your fiction or nonfiction book and need a beta reader along the way, I'm happy to work right along with you.
I can read by chapter, by sections, or your entire book whenever you feel you need another perspective. It might be during your first draft, after your first draft is finished, or right before publication.
I can help you with a fresh outlook on your book by alerting you to plot holes, structure flaws, pacing problems, and what works or doesn't work from a reader's perspective. I can let you know if your character development and world building techniques are spot on or need to be worked on.
My beta reading price is $1 per thousand words. You will receive one full read with detailed improvement notes.

You need a partner to help you make sure that your message is heard and communicated clearly to your readers. I can make that conversation comfortable for you. You've gone through all the right steps and now you're ready to publish your book—almost. It just needs to be proofread before it goes out into the world. Let's make sure the punctuation, spelling, and grammar are correct. We'll also take a look at formatting, numbering, orphans, and more to make sure your work is top-notch before it's seen by your readers.
Maybe you know you're not so great with these things and you want to put your best foot forward. Sometimes you know when you've got a diamond in the rough and it doesn't need too many changes—just some polishing up!
If you've already had your book edited, or you've already edited it yourself (go you!), I'm here to hunt down those pesky typos and spelling errors you may have overlooked while concentrating on the plot, so you've got perfection when you go to publish! Don't let a reader DNF your book because of typos.
